A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDERS:

“When Jean and I first moved to Delta County, our goal was simple: settle into a slower pace of life after spending over 25 years providing mental health support in Chicago. We expected to slow down, enjoy our new surroundings, and reflect on a long career of service.

Instead, as we got to know our new neighbors, a clear calling emerged. We saw firsthand the pressing need for accessible mental health services in this community, and we realized that our work wasn’t finished. Our deep roots in Chicago had given us decades of experience, but Delta County was offering us a new purpose. We knew we had to step up and build the KBH Center to serve the place we now proudly call home.

As we celebrate one year of serving Delta County, our hope remains as strong as the day we opened our doors: to bring genuine healing, deep compassion, and lasting support to our neighbors. Thank you for welcoming us, trusting us, and helping us put down new roots together. We hope your’ll join us at The Grove in Delta on November 14th to celebrate one year of planting these new roots together.”
